Customer Problem

As a us tax payer, I’m require to prove that I have health insurance coverage. If I do not I will pay a penalty. This is a new law and I am unsure what what I’m required to do and how will prove my situation.

Design Challenge

To most American, not only is the Affordable Care Act (ACA) law confusing so is the language is confusing. How do we guide customer though this complexity?

 

Approach

Provide customers with targeted and conditional text.

Break interactions down into digestible bites.

Get the 80% of happy path customer through without exposing the complexity they need to address.
